Hamilton Academical say they’ve acquired a Discover of Grievance from the Scottish FA concerning their supervisor Brian Rice.
It follows feedback Rice made after the 3-0 defeat to St Mirren within the Scottish Cup on April 3.
Rice was incensed by the choice to award St Mirren a late penalty which was scored by Jamie McGrath for the guests’ third aim.
Hamilton issued an announcement on Tuesday saying: “Hamilton Academical Soccer Membership can affirm that it has acquired a Discover of Grievance from the Scottish FA Compliance Officer referring to our head coach Brian Rice for the alleged breach of disciplinary guidelines 72 & 77 on Saturday, third April.
“The membership and Brian will defend his case. There can be no additional touch upon the matter.”
Hamilton are backside of the Scottish Premiership with simply six wins from 34 video games.
