Mansour Ojjeh, a big and influential long-time shareholder at McLaren, has died aged 68.

In a press release saying his passing, McLaren paid tribute to Ojjeh.

“It’s with deep unhappiness that McLaren Racing broadcasts the loss of life of Mansour Ojjeh, shareholder of McLaren since 1984,” stated the staff.

“Mr Ojjeh handed away peacefully this morning in Geneva, aged 68, surrounded by his household.
